Booking your move
How far in advance do I need to book a removal?
We usually advise booking at least a month in advance to ensure you get the move date of your choice.
Will I receive a quote in writing?
Yes. Our quotations are valid for 30 days.
Insurance
Do I need insurance?
We strongly recommend insuring your possessions while in transit or in storage. While all care is taken, events and accidents can occur which are sometimes beyond our control.
But I already have home contents insurance…Some insurance policies do not provide cover for your contents while in transit. While some policies do provide cover for relocation, we strongly advise that you check the details of your individual policy documentation carefully or call your insurance provider for assistance.
Packing
Can AAA Asmar Removals pack for me?
Definitely. AAA Asmar Removals can provide a complete professional pack of all your belongings for the big day.
Can I use my own boxes for packing?
It is better to use the boxes we provide. Our cartons are specially designed to both protect your goods and maximise space efficiency in our vehicles.
Are there any items you won’t move?
We DO NOT MOVE goods which are (or could become) dangerous including corrosive, inflammable or explosive goods. For example, petrol, gas bottles, chemicals or aerosols. Machinery such as lawnmowers which use petrol should be emptied prior to pick-up.
